The Absolute Best Marinated Steak

This recipe can be used for any type of steak. Most of the ingredients you will already have at home and it makes for a super flavorful and tender result.


We happened to use T-bone steaks.

Ingredients for 2 steaks:
  • 1/3 cup lite soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup evoo
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tb garlic powder
  • 3 Tb dried basil
  • 1 1/2 Tb dried parsley
  • 1 t ground black pepper

First grab yourself a gallon size zip lock bag.
Add all of the above ingredients into the bag, zip bag shut and shake until mixed.
Open bag and add your 2 steaks. Shut bag and place in fridge for up to 8 hours.
When ready to eat dinner, let steak sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes while your grill is heating up.
We cooked steaks for 10 minutes a side at medium high heat to achieve a medium well result. After removing from grill make sure to let steaks rest for 10 minutes. Enjoy!


We ate our steaks with steamed asparagus with hollandaise and bacon wrapped scallops with Northwoods penzeys seasoning.
